I guess its back to the drawing board... and off to the medic.... mommy!
Version 2.0.17 loaded with some com problems.. not sure what that was about. The copter was more stable this time until the wind kicked up.. then it really wanted to travel the direction of the wind. Hoping that that is a simple PID adjustment.

More to come
When I get back to a real computer I will add some more content, delete extra posts and photos, and add a gallery of all of the pictures.
Graphic block programing
This looks a lot like Googles ap inventor. Looks like they have their own platform but will also work on the arduino

Maker Bot
Add this one to the wish list.. this will print out anything you can dream up. Using a plastic extruder. At only $1300 I should have one...
DIY Drones
How cool is this. I got a chance to visit with Chris from DIY Drone. This is a great project that I have followed for the past two years... and have built the quad copter kit.
Sparkfun
Cool look at all of these great projects, Kaleb astute at learning how to solder. He did a fine job. Took about an hour but he now has a digital multi-meter. He picked the hardest project --- but was able to get it done. Good Job
SparkFun is a distributor for all types of DIY components and electronic projects. I have ordered several items from them over the years. We also happened across a group of them at breakfast before the Faire. I will get those pics up in a gallery for you to see.

We have arrived
At the hotel now... almost wiped out with a flying mattress on the I880.. good thing Ross was driving. Some dim whit here in California decided that a nylon rope tied to the handles of a king sized bed would be enough at 65Mph. Ross noticed it and said, that doesn't look to safe we better go around. Just as we change lanes the mattress fly's off the back of the truck. Ross hits the gas and we go speeding through the emergency lane around all of the debris. We should have had pictures....
